I read this story a little while ago, but I had a dream about it last night and thought I'd write a review, which is something I don't often do on Amazon. I think when we dream about someone's art, it shows that it has spoken to us on a number of levels. This is a really nicely written short story, Angela Meyer has a talent for snappy metaphors. The main character is very intriguing, and the story is not what you might expect. I don't want to include any spoilers because I think this story is best met in the way that I met it, with absolutely no idea what it's about. But it is a kind of fantasy, or magical realism, that has an emotional depth which is surprising for a short work. I really liked this story, and not in the Facebook way, in a real-world, I'm thinking about it and dreaming about it kind of way. Please check it out. You won't regret it.
