5.0 out of 5 stars Nice birdbath for the price
I ordered this birdbath and it was shipped right away. I was happy with the quality of the birdbath and the way it looks. I would recommend this product if you have a small garden and are looking for a hanging birdbath. I've seen birds using it already and it is only hanging in my yard for a week.

3.0 out of 5 stars doesn't stay flat
it doesn't stay flat, the hooks that attach to the plate seem to be the problem. it is also a bit small.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not durable, March 29, 2009

I bought one of these last summer, and it's already unusable. It cracked in several places and is spalling off in others. I normally leave water for the birds all winter, as temps aren't that cold here (mostly above freezing), but this obviously can't deal with that.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Basic, May 27, 2008

It's pretty, very basic and affordable. The texture is nice and it's pretty heavily weighted (I was expecting something more of a light plastic for the price, but it's a decent weight.) It serves it's purpose in my home without needing to be the focal point.

3.0 out of 5 stars Appears to be ceramic and not resin, May 8, 2011

This looks attractive, but so far the birds have not come to feed. It's hanging at our front entrance way. We have a similar resin feeder on the other side that the birds have flocked to for three years. The birds were becoming too numerous for the one feeder, so we looked for a similar one for the other side. It's been up for two weeks and nary a grain of seed has been eaten.

Unless I am mistaken, the birdbath/feeder is made of ceramic and not resin. No where on the packaging (it's made in China) does it say what it's made of. However comparing it to the resin feeder, there is a definite difference in texture, feel, and weight. We move around every two/three years and wanted a resin feeder for durability. I'm not sure how this will travel.

It was difficult to attach the third hook to the feeder for some reason. The holes and hooks all look the same, but while two slipped in effortlessly, the third one stuck. As I wiggled it around, the sound was exactly as if the hook was being passed through ceramic rather than resin. We used a meter/3' length of thin chain (more decorative - not a thick, swing type chain) to hang the feeder, passing the chain over the pole frame of our entrance way and hooking the feeder to the ends so it's the same length as the one on the other side. Time will tell if the birds decide to come to eat out of it.

Sturdy, easy to set up (if you have the appropriate tree) and looks good. Wish it were slightly deeper as in this southwestern climate the water evaporates rapidly if the birds don't splash it all overboard first.

1.0 out of 5 stars Birdbath, January 15, 2012

Purchased this item four months ago. Since then, the finish on the birdbath has flaked off and deteriorated to the point where there are holes completely through the birdbath and no longer holds any water. This product is of very poor quality.

We love this bird bath! We have cats so this hanging one is perfect. Looks like a million dollars....really nice details, color and just heavy enough! We have it on a sheperds hook and it is not too heavy!!
Love IT!!

I have used this product for the small birds such as finches and chicadee. They are still afraid to use it.
Take time for them to use it.
