Avant Garden Standing/Hanging Birdbath

I bought this because I thought it would work well as a hanging birdbath. So far, the birds have stayed away from it. The chains do NOT link into the base, so they flop around every time you try to fill it with water, and the basin ends up falling on the ground. In general, it looks cool in the picture, but is not practical in the hanging application. The ground application seems too flimsy to hold up to much stress of other animals such as squirrels, that inevitably will come to try it out.

I wanted a small, shallow birdbath and so ordered this one. I use it on the stand but like the idea that I can convert it to a hanging style should I want something different. I'm very pleased with the quality and the appearance.

I love this little birdbath... it is a high quality product for a very reasonable price... I am using mine as a standing birdbath... But I like the fact that I also have the option of using it as a hanging birdbath as well... The decorative leaves and the 3 little birds on the birdbath add a pretty, artistic effect to it; I have planted flowers around the base of it...

If you are looking for a pretty, yet durable birdbath, I highly recommend this one... oh, and the birds seem to love it as well... simply beautiful... ~ Dee ~

This is a cute birdbath but must be filled daily. After about 6 months, the bowl of the birdbath turned black and then white and now continuously peels. Not sure it is safe for the birds anymore so am throwing out.

This is not a birdbath made of copper, but a stamped sheet metal bowl spray painted in an antiqued copper color. I am very disappointed with the quality and look. I would not dare give it as a gift, which was my plan when I bought it. Unfortunately the cost is too low to bother with returning. Believe me, it is much cheaper-looking in person than in pictures. I acknowledge that it may look OK in some settings, but be forewarned.

The product is very similar to what it pictured, but the metal is very thin and some of the connecting parts are plastic and the spike at the bottom comes off easily, so I am going to try to super glue it to see if that helps. Having said that, it is very attractive for such a light-weight bird-bath and I love the fact that I can convert it if I need to. I think I could even use the 3 "branches" that hold it if it is in the ground for decorative stakes if I decide to hang it.

this is a perfect addition to any garden. I put it together and hung it on a garden crook. Easy, simple and pretty!!

For all of you out there who think this product is too good to be true.. well, it is. The paint is terrible and uneven and well... I really can't say too much about it. It's not weather resistant to ANY degree and the metal they used (I'm surprised they actually used metal) is cheap and ugly. The birds that sit on the basin look like they were made in like 5 minutes! Overall, ye who think this is the product to buy... I can't tell you how wrong you are. Bad buy!

It is not as large as I hoped but it is okay. Good service and prompt.

I really like the looks of the bird bath. I wanted some kind of feature in one of my flower beds. This fit the bill. It wasn't "heavy" looking and was very easy to assemble and put in place. The price was right also.
