I would recommend these as an alternative to the leather or suede boston styles. I purchased these in Feb of 2010 and have been wearing them steadily ever since! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! One downfall is that when worn out in wet weather the toe areas started to come loose from the sole. This was fixed with a little super glue. Fixed and back out and going again!
