love the Birkenstock brand. This style I wear a 38 and this style runs 1/2 size too big, even with thick socks. A little disappointing.

I usually just buy the regular footbed birks but was persuaded to try these. I will never go back, the break-in time associated with "regular" footbeds is reduced to minutes after you put these on. I absolutely love them!

This clog runs wide. I need to wear ragg socks with it or it will fall off my foot. I have also found that the soft footbed, while needing no break-in time, does not have the support as the regular footbed.

I received a pair of these as a gift and was a little leery of wearing them since I have chronic low back pain. But I decided to try them one day and I was amazed at how much better my back felt when wearing them. I have two ruptured discs in my back and even the Croc's and Air Jordan's that I tried didn't help very much. With my Birkenstocks I'm able to go out and do my shopping and my back doesn't hurt. They have been a lifestyle saver as before I got these I could only walk for short periods of time due to my back pain. I just cannot say enough good things about them. I have now bought a second pair and even after I have my back surgery I will continue to wear these. If you have back, foot, or leg pain give these a try. The more you wear them the better they feel. The leather gets softer as you wear them and they hold up very well with everyday use. I've also had a lot of compliments on these. They look great with jeans or even dressier pants. If you have a lot of back pain try these. You will be as surprised as I was at how much better you will feel.

I gave my niece the Birkenstock Boston Suede w/ soft footbed shoes for Christmas (they were on her list). As soon as she put them on she wouldn't take them off or let others try them. She was very very happy with them. Even with the holiday rush and snow they arrived on time for Christmas.

I bought a pair for my daughter, her first Birks. She had a generic brand before, but I think she'll never go back. She raved about how perfectly these fit and how comfortable they are. Worth the price for a hard to please college student.

Great, comfortable! Good slip on. Once broken in very comfortable. Third pair and both my kids wear them. Would recommend to all!

I bought these for my husband who has flat feet. He absolutely loves these and the support that they give to his feet. His dad was here during Christmas and tried them on and now he also wants a pair. Expensive but they will last years if properly taken care of.

others have remarked on this before, these Birkenstocks run too big. The length is ok, but they are too wide, and my feet feel a bit lost in there. I am only wearing them at home, to keep my feet warm and to walk on a proper footbed, so it's not that big a deal, but less wide would have been nice.

I received these and another pair of brown Birkenstocks which were not soft footbed. The brown birkies are wonderful but the black ones with the soft footbed are like coming home. They fit perfectly and with a pair of socks are warm in this early part of the cold weather. I do not know why I waited so long. I still have to break in the brown birkies but man what a wonderful pair of shoes. I wear a size ten so I am used to sometimes having to size up but these are perfectly the right size for my feet and awesome to work in all day on a concrete floor covered with thin carpet.
