This has never happened before, but these 144.00 shoes are falling apart on me. I have worn them about 20 times since purchasing them in CA in mid-April. I live in PA, so I couldn't wear them till June. They are coming apart where the leather sole lining and cork meet. It is really bad too. This is the most I've spent on Birkenstocks, even though I own about 6 pair. None of my other Birks have given me a moment's trouble. I need to find out how to resolve this issue.

I love Birkenstocks and have worn them for years. These were a beautiful pair with the jewelry added. When they arrived, I was so pleased as they looked very tasteful and classy in a casual way. The second time I wore them, one of the rivets holding the jewelry attached to the shoe broke off and the Jewelry slung around with every step. I was so disappointed and sadly returned them. I am debating whether to get another pair thinking maybe that pair was an exception?? They were just too cute. I'm not hard on my shoes, so I am hoping that pair was just a fluke. I think because of the comfort and that they were so adorable maybe they are worth trying a second pair.

This jeweled Birenstock is fun and all the comfort you expect from Birenstock. So far I love these sandals, and am quite pleased with their versatility. The jewels lend themselves to be dressed up more than a regular pair of Birenstocks. I highly recommend these sandals to anyone who wants to spice up their Birenstocks!
