I have big feet - and so I am limited in the brands and styles of sandals I can wear. I just bought my fourth pair of these sandals, and I get between two and three years wear from each pair of sandals.

This is especially good when you consider that I live in Florida and wear sandals almost all the time.

They generally stay on because they have ridges on the insole that your feet can grab. The arch support is excellent.

I have never had the uppers fail - eventially I wear the soles clean off and then they need to be replaced.

I have worn Arizona Birks for years. I have Plantars Fascitiis and the arch support in these sandals is just what I need. I wear them daily. This is one of the best products for my condition, aside from the obvious benefit of wearing sandals.

Had bunion surgery in May and Doc told me... "...NO more heels... NO tight shoes... wear a shoe which cradles your foot... NOT binds it..." So... these Arizona Birkies are just what the Doc ordered. The pleasure is in the walking!!! Too bad I cannot use their cost as a medical deduction!

I have been wearing Birkenstock Arizona footprint sandals since the mid-1970's, and no other brand or style can compare to them.They are the most simple and basic sandal available, though certainly not the cheapest. But they last for many years, soothe and strengthen the wearer's feet, and in my opinion look good. Their only drawback is their usual high cost of over $100 retail. I searched the internet for a good price and stumbled across these from Amazon. They were $50 off retail, and come with Amazon's usual no-tax and no shipping cost policy. Other sandals come and go, but with the Birkenstock Arizona, most wearers are going to wear them for as many years as it takes to wear them out!

My husband purchased his first pair of Birkenstocks in a little town in New Mexico about 30 years ago. He is now on his third pair and will not even try any other kind of Birkenstock or any other kind of sandal. And, he would still be on his second pair if the new puppy hadn't chewed up the cork - they wear like iron, and according to my husband, get more comfortable with age.

This is about the sixt pair of Birkenstocks I got, which already indicates that I find these sandals absolutely comfortable, even if worn a whole day standing and walking. Additionally, they are usually extremley longlasting so that I find the price difference to imitates acceptable, especially as they are due to the firmer sole much more comfortable to wear for many hours. My experience with the Birkoflor material (soft textile fleece-like inner layer and fake leather outer surface) is though that it starts to break and rip at the buckles after some years. Depending on the model you choose (buckles?) and how often / how many years you plan to wear those, you should weigh the cheaper Birkoflor against the real leather models where the first thing coming apart after several more years will be the soles.

Great shoe. Fast shipment. They were delivered undamaged and with the Birkenstock quality you would expect.

These sandles are the most comfortable to wear and will last. They form fit to the individual.

Love Birkenstock sandals! They are the best for casual wear! Very comfortable and durable. I didn't realize that the Birko-Flor referred to the straps(not leather), but still comfortable, so can't complain.

This is my third pair of Birkies. They last forever. I've never had a pair of shoes that I love like Birkenstock's. And so easy to purchase on line. Arizona's are my favorite. Long lasting and very comfortable.

These sandals are very comfortable. They are well made and sizes run very true from one style to another. They get even comfier with age and use....Love them!
