I own a bunch of Birkenstock sandals... but these were a fabulous surprise. I have them in the Golden Brown which is really more like an antique bronze (very much the same color as the button that appears on the toe piece). It's a subtle metallic and in no way garish. A little more formal than plain brown but not vulgar like some golds can be.

Most of my Birkenstocks are the heavier looking sandals with multiple cross straps but these provide the SAME KIND OF SUPPORT without the heavy look. It's a much softer looking profile, better for skirts/dresses/shorts. And most surprising to me was the toe piece. It's very comfortable. (Typically this sort of style would drive me crazy.) As always, Birkenstock products are wonderfully comfortably, very durable and these, in particular, are VERY STYLISH.

If you were hesitating about buying these, don't worry. I'll be ordering more.

I've been buying Birdenstoack sandals for about 25 years. My oldest sandals are still the best I own. Unfortunately, the newer sandals don't last as long as the old ones. They are still the best product out there, but they are not as good as they used to be.

I absolutely LOVE this sandal. I got the white- very stylish and cute. SO COMFORTABLE! They fit like a glove. I've gone on walks with them. Plenty of support. The strap goes high over foot so they don't slide off like many sandals. I will buy another pair when these die.

I saw these in Holland last month, regretted not buying them, and then found them on Amazon. Soooo happy with them, I wear them all the time, totally comfortable, and they go with everything!!! Loves them!!

These were in perfect condition, true to size, and as well made as any Birkenstocks. I tried them on immediately on carpet, knowing that Birkenstocks require a few days of breaking in before they fit one's foot like a glove. Unfortunately the Gizeh toe piece -- a thick black plastic strap -- is uncomfortably thicker than the Birko-flor toe piece on my favorite Birkenstock Mayari sandals. Also, the thong didn't seem to be holding the shoe on well; it kept bending and letting my toes come up past the toe piece. Maybe it's the patent "leather." Maybe I'm just not hip enough. Anyway, back they went.

This shoe is great. The color was cool though the patent leather did not really seem very summery to me. Sizes are accurate and the adjustabel buckle strap makes the shoe customizable.

My issue is with Amazon. This product was not listed properly and I only found it by doing a very specific search. Plus they take forever to ship.
