I purchased these shoes as a gift for my grand daughter and she loves them. I frankly could not believe one would pay such a price for such a small amount of shoe leather, but then I have been wrong many times before. You must know what you want---that is exactly what you want----when you go shopping for a pair of Birkenstock. There are many styles an not all will please you. Before ordering I went to a local store just to look at the product before ordering. Sizes and styles were very limited locally thus I really had no choice except to order. They are well made and are holding up real well for my grand daughter.

Very nice-not quite as clunky as other Birkenstocks I've owned. Not suede-type material but smooth leather. Very comfortable as Birkenstocks are known for that and these live up to their reputation. Definitely would recommend.
