I have never worn Birkenstocks and never cared to UNTIL NOW with the new Madrid. Even my 18 year old daughter likes them and she frowns upon many of my things.

I have always known they were of great quality, but the style is not me. Due to foot surgery I was forced to get a really good sandal. I checked Birkenstock hesitantly and then saw the Red Madrid Birko-Flor in Elle magazine. I was sold. They are precious and sooo comfortable!!! I bought another as a gift and will buy more for myself in another color.

I still can't believe I'm wearing Birkenstocks and actually excited about them, but I am. Perfect for the beach and walking downtown in our hot and humid weather.

i recieved the white birkenstock,, and its really nice and comfortable but its too narrow, i ordered the M width as it was the only one left in stock, and i got it without sale, while the narrow one was on sale the same size, and they send me the narrow one without sale. will send it back for sure, and will get it from the official site for birkenstock.

They are very very comfortable, the best soo far I can stay the whole day wearing them and feel good.

I bought this with the birkenstock sandal I used previously (white and same design). It's alright but the straps are quite stiff and I get rashes from wearing them, so I have to put bandages to prevent that. It might be because it's new, but I don't remember having this problem with the slippers I had before. Maybe it's a slightly different model.. besides that, is alright

I got my product on time. Perfectly packed. Then I wore them.

After walking with them for a couple of hours, I got some blisters just under the line of the strap. They lasted about a week but then they went away and know I am able to wear them all the time. Overall all, they are good. I tried other models, and I feel this is the less comfortable one. But still, is great to walk fro long hours. If I wouldn't get the blisters after the first time I used them, I would give them a 4. But still, I would purchase them again.

If you can score these on sale (I did, on Amazon, for less than $40) then give them a try. They're cute, not clunky like many Birks, and very comfortable. Great with a summer dress even. The adjustable toe strap lets them really hug your foot so they don't slip off. Love them.

I love birks. This one is comfortable and maybe a little more attractive since it has the "mono" strap instead of the regular birk styles. Birks overall are excellent for me, since I am recovering from foot problems in both feet: Metatarsalgia and Plantar Fasciitis.

cute idea, lower profile more feminine look....but foot wants to slide to one side making it not so comfortable...would not buy again

Beautiful color and materials, very cute with summer skirts and shorts and jeans- love them- would buy more- the narrow option in this shoes is great for smaller feet. Adorable to sum it up and super comfy to walk around.
