the shoes are ok for the purpose i bought them for. i have a problem with my arches and these shoes are good in that respect, but i didn't know the entire shoe would be made from the same material. I thought the sole would be softer. i would buy this product again but i would look more closely at all the info regarding the materials it is made from.

Let me qualify my review by explaining that I have worn the Birkenstock shoes since the 70s. The "clog" has been a favorite and I needed some smaller sizes, now, having lost weight - Yippee! So, I decided to start off with a simple black clog and maybe new insoles for my older clogs - all over 14 years old (I do have the Birk sandals too - with one wide strap over the toes that I adore).

Thus arrived in great time my new smaller black Birki Clog. Lo and behold no removable insole! That means no great footbed that accomodates indiviual feet. Still dedicated to this brand, I decided to give them a good ole heave ho and break them in; not!

No amount of wearing these comes anything close to even my first paid or Birkenstock clogs (made of the same material) with the removable insoles.

In my opinion, I would not buy this model ever again - it's simply not worth my foot and back health to risk it, ever again. I'm enjoying a smaller size, but that's about the limit. When I can get back to the Austin Birkenstock stores and stock up again, I will do that - and double-check on what I am buying because with the removable insoles new ones may be ordered and the Birkenstock clogs last forever, in my experience.

Great shoes, delivered on time, I love birckenstock and the birkis are great to work in the kitchen!!!

Crocs are good, but Birki's are the best! My workplace doesn't allow Crocs, so I needed reputable, comfortable, on-my-feet-the-entire-shift, footwear.
I've had, (and still have Birkenstock sandals), and decided to go with a brand I trusted. Birkis are comfortable, safe, easy-to-clean, and a bargain compared with other health care footwear. I would highly recommend Birkis.

8 YEARS LATER HE NEEDED A NEW PAIR THAT HAD TO EXACTLY LIKE WHAT HE HAD. COULD NOT BE THE NEW STYLE. HAD TO BE THE EXACT SAME SHOE.
Much to my surprise I found them at Amazon. His review is they are PERFECT.

I have heel spurs and my feet give me a lot of problems with pain. I work 12 hour shifts at the hospital and these have helped greatly with my foot and back pain. I highly recommend these to anyone who walks a lot for their job!

Shoe is not as comfortable as other Birki's I have had in the past. More ventilation holes needed...too hot to wear without socks. Foot bed is not cork; not as comfortable.

These birki plastic clogs are classics. Reasonably priced, lightweight and arer completely washable by hosing them down. This style has no lining,and will last forever unless you lose them! Thank you for keeping them affordable and sending the clogs in a timely manner. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 shoe and my feet are on the wide side. Size 37 is perfect, Thanks!

i ended up buying 2 identical pairs in a month, one for my wife, one for my daughter--my wife has loved them since we lived in Germany years ago and still has the original ones she bought there---other than being destroyed by a dog, the Birkis are more likely to be lost or borrowed than worn out. This seller ships rapidly--packs well---outstanding transaction all the way round----
