I am a travel agent, specializing in Disney and Universal travel. I use this book to back up the information I have learned in taking the Disney Travel Agent courses.

I have found that the information in this book is accurate, up to date (as long as you get the latest version) and very helpful.

The descriptions are unbiased and very good. This book covers all the Disney parks in great detail. Wonderful for first time visitors or repeat guests.

I would say that it is not a full guide but more of a take along guide. Even though I have been to Disney World many times over the years, I still learned a few new things with this book.

Just came back from my Disney vacation and this was one of the guides I enjoyed using. I liked that the guide was small enough to fit in my purse and contained enough info to keep me organized. While on my trip I noticed that most Disney guests tend to use the Birnbaum guides and The Healthy Guide to Walt Disney World 2009: How to Eat Right and Stay Fit in Disney - The NEW Diet, Dining, Food, Fitness and Complete Weight Loss Book when doing their touring of the WDW parks and restaurants. I also used both guidebooks and found them to be quite helpful in planning and organizing my trip.

This little guide book was everything we needed once in the parks... although it does not include park maps! You have to use the map furnished by the park in addition to using this book for complete navigation. Also, the full-size book we bought was much better for hotel room based planning. More detailed logistical information and less ride description would make this mini-guide book more useful all around.
