If you are a Manson fan then you will love this cd. The first studio recording from Mr. Manson and The Spooky Kids. Hear "Sam Son of Man", The music is Black Sabbath "Iron Man" with words about the Serial Killer "Son of Sam". Hear the orignal version of "My Monkey".This is an Awesome cd and I am glad that the early stuff from "Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids" is finally relesed for the hard core Manson fans!

Just a start,

I'd say Marilyn Manson is one of the most notorious bands of the '90s, and i expect this notoriety to last much longer. As any other band, it has quite of a weird beginning, with sometimes low quality music (or at least low quality amps or tech) and equally-weird performances. Although this might seem like a complaint, this album is a must-buy, especially if you are a great fan of the band and the Man.

The Beginning of a Beautiful Career,
By A Customer
This review is from: Birth of the Anti-Christ (Audio CD)
This review is in reference to the "Birth of the Anti-Christ" DVD! Marilyn Manson's first show was definately worth seeing, so if you weren't there to check it out in person, you obviously need this DVD then. This performance was of his first show in a night club in Florida circa 1990. Many of the songs on here were shots that were on his first Album "Portrait of an American Family" which debuted in 1994. This was filmed by his girlfriend at the time, Misty, who filmed this with a home video camera. This in turn results in my 4 star rating....the visuals aren't top notch and the audio a few times during the show are not way up there. But Misty did atleast take the time to set up the camera on a tri-pod so the view you get is atleast steady. Setlist includes My Monkey, Dope Hat, and Lunchbox.
