Book Description

August 1, 2003
From the age of seven to the age of 22, Kathie Jordan’s deceased brother came to her at nighttime, pulled her from her body, and guided her to Heaven. In these nighttime journeys, she was taught about the purpose of life in the body, the meaning of death, and about the soul’s progress in the afterlife. In these moments out of her body, Kathie is taken to higher and higher levels of Heaven, where she meets a few great spiritual teachers, including Jesus.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I had a Near Death Experience 17 years ago and have learned a lot about the life after death. This is as good a description as any. Wish I knew her brother Troy myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort, guidance and inspiration, August 2, 2004

As a psychologist who has studied mysticism, philosophy and transpersonal psychology and who has worked with the terminally ill for years I can say with confidence that this book holds a great deal of value for those who grapple with issues of their own mortality. Kathy Jordan's book offers a heartfelt, insightful and very personal map of the unfolding of consciousness after death. I recommend it not only to those struggling with the loss of a loved one or with the inevitability of their own mortality but to anyone searching for a deeper understanding of their existence.

I really enjoyed reading "The Birth Called Death". The author does a wonderful job of pulling the reader in, and keeping them interested throughout the entire book - In fact, I had trouble putting this book down!

"The Birth Called Death" is about the author's experiences on the Other Side after the death of her brother - who began taking her through the "tunnel" so that she could learn about what life is like after "death".

As with all books of this nature, it's impossible to prove that the events described did in fact occur - but this just puts it in the reader's court to determine if it feels right & true to them.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in spritualtiy in general, and life on the Other Side in particular - it's both an easy & interesting read.
