Worth, a childbirth educator and author of Labor and Birth ( LJ 10/15/83), was surprised at the candid confessions new fathers shared with her about pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. The present work gathers their comments into readable anecdotal form. Women will come away with a new perspective, but men especially will benefit from the advice offered here; though several such books exist for women, heretofore there has been no counterpart for men.
