When I bought this book, I didn't expect much. But, when it came I was astonished! It has all 12 birthstones and a whole lot more. Each page tells what the color of the gem is and also has a sentence or two telling about the folklore. With me being a rock collector, I loved this book. The information would be helpful to anyone. If they believed in that kind of stuff. For $3.50 I certainly got more than what I payed for!
