5.0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Series for the Developing Young Reader
Biscuit has been a busy pup in the past 10 years. He's visited a pumpkin patch, gone to school, celebrated holidays and even met a baby.

Now Biscuit is going on an exciting adventure. He's off to the big city!

Biscuit is interested in exploring and meeting new friends. The city is bustling with activity and there's so much for Biscuit to see...

3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't Care for It
Not good for reading to child before bedtime. Not enough words, story, substance. We were bored with it after one reading. My 2yr son isn't old enough to read yet, but when he is, I am guessing he will read it once and then be bored with it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Series for the Developing Young Reader, May 23, 2006
Biscuit has been a busy pup in the past 10 years. He's visited a pumpkin patch, gone to school, celebrated holidays and even met a baby.

Now Biscuit is going on an exciting adventure. He's off to the big city!

Biscuit is interested in exploring and meeting new friends. The city is bustling with activity and there's so much for Biscuit to see.

He starts with pigeons and before you know it, he's seeing tall buildings, a city bus, a fountain and so much more. Biscuit seems to be enjoying himself and wants to say hello to everyone he meets.

Just when you think Biscuit may actually be lost in the big city, he's really just found his way to a hot dog stand and his friend Jack. Along the way, he's made some special friends like pigeons and other dogs.

The Biscuit series of books is such a great find for readers ages 3-5. The words are big and bold, the sentences simple for developing readers and the story line keeps the young reader's interest.

Biscuit Visits the Big City is no exception. The book gives children the opportunity to read for themselves and also practice their sound effects with words like "woof, woof!," "beep, beep!" and "coo, coo!"

The illustrations are also fun for children reading along with their parents. Biscuit Visits the Big City is a cute book to enjoy together or to let the young reader branch out on his own for the first time.

5.0 out of 5 stars My kids love these books, December 31, 2009
Both my 4 and 6 year olds love the Biscuit Series. The pictures and easy words capture their attention more than other books.
