We love the author.
My daughter is 3 years old, and we started reading to her very early. She immediatley connected with the Katy Duck series of books by Alyssa Satin Capucilli, and so we began purchasing others by her. We are very happy with each selection and my daughther who cannot actually read it herself can re-cite each book word for word. Thanks to Amazon and the author!

one small thing wrong
If your child is extra sensitive to scary Halloween stuff, be aware that this book does have one child dressed up as a ghost. The ghost costume itself is not scary-looking, but the concept of ghosts may be scary to some young children.

I bought this for my son's 2nd Halloween and he loves "reading" it! He loves touching the shiny parts and the furry parts of the book and always smiles. The board book is excellent for the little fingers turning the pages. :-)
