Bissell Filter Kit, 3093, 1 Upper Tank Filter and 1 Pre-Motor Filter - The Pre-Motor Filter protects the motor from dirt particles. It is located in the slide out tray underneath the Dirt Container. If the filter becomes dirty, pull out the ray, lift out the filter and clean. This filter may be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent. Rinse well and air dry thoroughly before replacing.

I wrecked my original filter when I washed it and then tried to remove excess moisture with a hair dryer (shut up.....I know it was dumb). The new filters fit well and were of similar compound. They work well.

When I got this set I was unsure of what to do with the square filter. I thought it was just an extra piece. I looked at our vacuum and realized there was a third filter that I had never seen. After replacing all three of the filters our vacuum is like new again. To think we were going to get rid of it because we thought it wasn't working anymore.

We have a Bissell LiftOff Pet Revolution vacuum that started getting some really funky smells coming from it. Oops. Guess we hadn't changed the filters in... a while.

Bought these filters, popped them in (along with a new HEPA filter) and the smell is gone! And for some odd reason, the vacuum has better suction. Hmm. Can't imagine why that would be.

I too did not know about the "extra" filter located at the bottom of the dustbin until I actually looked at my vacuum. I LOVE this vacuum, and with new filters being so easy and cheap to replace, it should be around for a very long time!
