My house is almost all hardwood floors and I was sick of sweeping all the time. This vacuum makes picking up dirt, dustbunnies, and dog hair easy. It doesn't have any bags to change, just a dirt cup to empty. It also converts nicely into a smaller vac that has a hose that I use to vacuum the stairs and even my car. You can also clean carpet with this as it has a brush that you can raise or lower based on the surface that you want to clean. This is a very versatile inexpensive vacuum that everyone cold find a use for.

I bought this product three months ago because I have 2 cats and I was tired of chasing cat hair all around my kitchen floor. This product is marvelous and I highly recommend it for people with toddlers and pets. It has made a world of differene to me. What I also find very convenient is that it has a slim nozzle and hose attached so that you can get deep into corners, something that is nearly immpossible with a broom. It has a dust cup so you don't have to to be bothered with bags. I think the price is great also.

I live in a 900 sq. foot apartment with wooden floors and I have two cats. I have spent the past four years trying everything from the traditional (dust mop) to a Black and Decker FloorBuster - and none of them have worked as well as the Bissell Easy Vac Plus. It's powerful, it picks up very well and handles my throw rugs with ease. I finally feel like I'll win the war against the dust bunnies and ever present cat hair ...

This vacuum is fine for picking up the dirt in a small studio, but don't expect anything more from it. The main problems are by design: It is not very powerful (but adequate for hardwood floors) and because the engine is on the stick you can't reach under beds and sofas. But it does the job nicely in a small place with no rugs.

My apartment has all hardwood floors and I have a very furry dog. This vacuum has made a huge difference in keeping the place clean. It does a great job picking up the long hairs and has been a real time saver. Plus it's hard to go wrong for this price.

I bought a Bissell Easy Vac 4 years ago, and still works great. It does a great job picking up cat hair and litter.
