Bissell says that the round pleated paper filter can be washed. DON'T DO IT! When replaced after a washing even after a thorough drying these filters stink. Use an air canister and air blow it to clean it.

This was the cheapest replacement for my Bissell stand-up vacuum of two years. It also happens to be the best quality replacement as well! Changing this out the Helix filter and the pre-motor media filter gave my old vacuum new life for under $30. Excellent OEM product, fits perfectly. Will be buying another set to throw in the closet for next year!
