Just got this in today and am pleased - it looks identical to the original filter that came in our vacuum - right down to the labeling on the actual filter. I cannot tell any difference. I just installed it (our vacuum is relatively new so this is the first time replacing the filter). It was a tight fit, but I like that. For the price and getting to order it online and not have to drive anywhere - I'm sold. This is for my Bissell Powergroom® Pet Vacuum (4104W).Bissell Power Groom Pet Hair Vacuum 4104W

This filter seems to works just as well as any other and is a reasonable price. I too, like one other reviewer, replace it every 3 months instead of the recommended six. The better the air flow through this filter means the better your vacuum will work. It is a very tight fit, so placing it can be slightly difficult at times. But a tight fit is what you want.

These work just as good as Bissel's filters and half the price. For some reason thise style of filter is hard to find, I checked several different stores and none of them had them in-stock. When they said they could order them, they wanted at least twice what these are.

This my second or third re-order of these (after market) filters.One reviewer must not have gotten the filter completely in place.They are very snug and installed best by starting bottom in and completing by pushing on the top to finish install.I have tried washing them and this may work ok but they are still(imo)discolored and don't give me the feeling of total effectiveness.I always give my Bissell Lift-off sweeper a complete cleaning of both filters and bagless compartment etc.It is a little messy but in the long run keeps down any smells and extends the life of the sweeper(imo).One more lesson I sort of learned the hard way was to repalce the belt.It turned my sweeper from not being very efficient to like new again. I mistakenly replaced the brush roller thinking that was the problem of not picking up lint/hair.

I bought a 4 of these filters and they all arrived via USPS in a plastic shipping envelope. I compared it to the "brand name" one and they appeared about the same with the exception of the color of the plastic and that this item seemed a bit messier (the texture of the filter seemed a bit coarser and pleated less neatly). They do fit a little snug, but just need a little coaxing into place. The filter compartment door closed and stayed shut with no trouble. I tried out the filter in our emptied Bissell lift-off bagless with freshly cleaned pre- and post- filters (recommended for optimum cleaning). After vacuuming, it seemed to be picking up the fine particles of dust that I would expect, of course I can't actually see this on the microscopic level. Basically this item seems to be doing what it's supposed to and for a much better price than the "official" filter.

worked well for 1 - 2 cleanings. after that the filter did not perform well, vaccum cleaner did not pick up dirt as well and the lid kept opening up where this filter is housed. dont waste your money and get the real thing. you get what you pay for, at least this time.

Whats to say... the filter fits nice and tight and catches the small dust.

Buy one today... replace your filter every 3 months for better air quality.

We noticed our vacuum started to get a bit of a "dog smell" to it and replacing the original filter (after almost a year of use) fixed that issue.

These fit just right, I have an older Bissel I think it's a "lift off" model and the store I bought it in no longer carries this filter.

Great Price! Received wrong filter, but Amazon quickly shipped correct item even before the return of the wrong item. That was only a slight inconvenience as I was not needing it immediately.

This is a bit cheaper quality than a real Bissell one, but it works well. The fit in mine was a little tight, but other than that, no problems. If you are changing your filter every 3-6 months, these can save you some money.
