5.0 out of 5 stars Very Happy!
This is a great little set!

I bought it in conjunction with the matching Bissell broom and they make a great team! I can sweep up piles with the broom and use the brush and dustpan to pick them up and dispose of them. My floors are much cleaner thanks to this set!

Other reviewers have commented that the brush flicks things instead of picking...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Great For Shop Use...
It looked nifty so i bought it! Yet I ended up using this at my business, and i went and bought a 5 dollar one from jewel because the rubber part was flicking metal shards and screen cuttings more than it was cleaning them up. A plus is that it does clean a wet mess pretty darn well, all in all a great product for wet messes, but only for wet messes.

This is a great little set!

I bought it in conjunction with the matching Bissell broom and they make a great team! I can sweep up piles with the broom and use the brush and dustpan to pick them up and dispose of them. My floors are much cleaner thanks to this set!

Other reviewers have commented that the brush flicks things instead of picking them up, but it's actually all in how you use it. If you're moving quickly and twisting your wrist up as you sweep, the rubber will catch on the floor and flick. Once I discovered this, I changed my technique and keep the brush parallel to the floor while sweeping a little bit slower. This works out much better!

The brush sweeps up everything from dust bunnies, dirt, paper and even Styrofoam! I had read a review where the person complained this didn't sweep up fine particles, but I have not found that to be the case at all. This little brush has swept up everything and left me with no residual particles.

I highly recommend this set. It's at a good price point and does an excellent job!

5.0 out of 5 stars How clever is this!, May 3, 2011

If you are like me, you hate it when you spill flour (or some other equally tiny particle item on the floor) because your dust broom just doesn't pick it all up... you still need to wipe up afterwards with a towel.... or.. you spill wet coffee grinds on the floor... the dust broom doesn't pick them up at all and you end up going through half a roll of paper towels... not with this dustpan set! The rubber piece allows you to scoop it all up! And, because it hangs down just a tad farther than the bristles, the coffee grinds don't collect in the broom... a very clever invention indeed!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars broom for pet hair, December 12, 2011

This little sweeper works very well. Happy to have something "catch" the hair all at one time and it doesn't go all over the place like other brooms do.

I was glad to see that Bissell made a dustpan, I broke mine trying to get it to stay on my Bissell broom. Generally I am satisfied with this product but would like one larger and one that can stay on broom handle towards the middle. This one only stays on the top end and it is harder to hang. Dust seems to stick to it. Nice styling though!

Well, like it says, it's made for pet hair. I sure wish the bristles were a bit firmer so it would clean up, say, a piece of catfood. You have to brush and brush to get up bigger particles. The bristles are VERY soft.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Pet Hair, April 19, 2011

Ever since I first bought a bissle smart broom and scoop dustpan, that's all I ever buy. I never thought there was much of a difference in brooms, until I adopted 2 cats. Particularly in the spring/summer, their hair gets everywhere. It even tends to blend in with my floor so I don't even notice half of it, until I sweep. Then the broom just grabs all the hair for an easy sweep. I think it has to do with the plastic strip in the middle that generates static electricity as you're sweeping and attracts the pet hair. I'm not sure, but again, if you're a pet owner, it is definitely worth the cost. If you aren't, I don't see the advantage over brooms that are 1/2 the price.

Nothing much to say about this other than the fact that it's used to sweeep up anything when it falls. It's just a really nice set
