This cd reminds me about my early high scool days!!! I played this tape religiously, even my mom started to like it....It is one of those albums that came out at the right time during the right year. He is not no lyricist, the beats are not the best ever made but the album just clicks...

Songs like word to tha d, jiggaboo pie, vertical joyride, and one of the top singles ever made in my opinion B**ch betta have my money make this album a hard to find classic..hell i still have the original white tape and i bought it on CD....Hotep!!

I was 12 years old and in the seventh grade when this album came out knowing damn well I shouldn't have been listening to it. The beats on here are banging for real(my old walkman headphones never did do the bass justice), and the lyrics are straight nasty though well delivered. Honestly, the blunt sexual nature of this album is of course what makes it a classic. I'm not really sure if I like this record because it's good or out of sentimentality, but it's 11 years later and I'm still diggin' it. Title track, Vertical Joyride, and Tha Booty Up are probably the most recognizable tracks, but if you've heard those you've probably heard the rest because you know this didn't get much radio play. Damn, if my momma had have known what I was really listening to in the backseat...

a very, very, nasty rap record, but it's hype. you wont skip a single song. i remember listening to this in college and getting lost in the beats...and some of the skits are so funny....

This is most definitely one of the greatest CDs of all time. AMG is at his best and the Teenage Pimp definately lets you know about it. Every song has great bass and rhythm and who can argue with AMG's lyrics? When you're a Pimp, you're a Pimp...what can you do other than get it all day, every day? I definitely recommend this CD to all rap fans and even non-rap fans...it's quite hard to come by, so get it while you can and have a "Vertical Joyride" of your own "When She Calls". And also I have the same question which LaQueeda Jenkins from Cleveland, Ohio has, "Who does DJ Quik's hair?"

I grew up in the golden age of rap (1986-1993) and can say with all honesty this is one of the best from the era. Some of you new rap listeners may not get it since you grew up on Puffy and other MTV crap (which has destroyed music as we know it). The only beef is too many skits. I just want those fresh beats and fast rhymin. This is definitely up there with Straight Outta Compton.

Poor AMG, he had it all and threw it away. At least he put his mark on rap music. Good work AMG! and that value meal is to go.

When I graduated high school in 1992 and I went on a grad trip, I played this tape over and over and over... time (not that much!) has passed and I have been looking for the mothertuckin' CD in stores to no avail. AMAZON.COM in the clutch...of course they have it...BEEATCH! Now I have the CD and I pumped those jams on my car stereo and don't give a (you know what) because I know all the words and rap along. GREAT LYRICS! Celebrating youth and energy! A must have! Jiggable Pie...gots to have!

My best friend and I have been searching for this cd for years. It's worth it!!!!!!!!

i still love this, i remember when my father's car was in the shop and i bought this on tape in 92, i played the whole tape boppin my head loving this, word to tha d has amg goin off, i wanna be yo ho is for freaks, just like janine that song bumps bout a girl who performs special lip service,jiggable pie is tight about the 69 position hell this whole cd is about sex, physical, oral just sex period, the lick em low lover shows how amg is skilled at the mouth, like i said classic booty music woder if g is related to luke.

You don't have to like it but you need to respect it! And oh.....this is just to balance the narrow-minded a@@hole who feels the rest of us should care what he thinks and listens to!!!

AMG comes with his extra funky jazzed up hyped beats & one dirty mouth, most of the songs on here are about sex (that goes along with being a buddy of DJ Quik). The album is decent but he says some lines that'll make you laugh til you cry. It has a few good songs but most are decent at best. The beats are tight though. Features 2nd II None (KK & D), & Boss.
