I love it! It's got a ton of basic recipes plus lots of original ones. In the back it's got bunches of info on substitutions, measurements, cooking tips, cleaning tips, handy person tips, and last but not least, how to save the earth! My favorite: #75. "Use a trash bag in your car instead of throwing trash out the window." Ha....I'm sure there are b****** out there that might need that piece of advice...

My mother gave this to my husband about a year after we were married. Inside was an inscription that said to present it to me. I never thought I'd use it, as of course it was a gag gift, right?

Wrong!

It's so full of the easiest recipes, and the notes pages are now filled with my own things that I've always wanted to know how to make!

It's wonderful and highly recommended. Each recipe includes a little note about who it came from and where, and a lot have the most wonderful names! And EASY! This is awesome, and goes from appetizers to desserts!

If you need a wonderful cookbook you'll always use, this is it!

Love, love, love this cookbook. I have tons of cookbooks, but this one is one of only two or so that I use all the time and every time. It has the best basic recipes as well as some new twists on old favorites. (Try the YAMS on page 100...to die for!). The recipes come out great and they never fail as great standards to fall back on.

This cookbook is amazing! I have tried over 1/2 the recipes and each one turns out amazing. They are all so simple and easy to do, but seem much more impressive. All the desserts and party friendly recipes disappear right away at any get together! I swear by this cookbook.
