Install takes a long time,

The product seems to be basic antivirus protection. Not as intrusive as McAfee or Norton. When you first install it downloads an update that takes 10-15 minutes. This is a pain when installing on 5 pc's.
It requires you to register each installation which is again a pain. It seems as though they just want to increase the amount of spam you get. After the pain of installation it sits in the tray and seems to do it's job. It found some questionable files on a couple PC's that CA Antivirus did not. When scanning it does not take up a lot of resources on a dual processor PC. Will not install on Windows 2000. I have one Win 2000 machine, I guess I didn't read the fine print. All other machines are XP. I was not happy with CA antivirus (two machines where I had to reinstall windows because of spyware) and figured I would try something different. The price was right. 5 pc's for 2 years for $50. |
