New Horse Owner Must Have, April 7, 2007
This review is from: Bits and Bitting Manual (Spiral-bound)
I love this book because it tells you exactly why you shouldn't run out and buy a "Tom Thumb" or "Hackamore"; two of the favorite bits that new horse owners tend to try/buy first. This book will save you $100's of dollars because it explains, in detail, why a bit works the way it does. It will change the way you think.

Gives exercises that you can do with a horse to soften them up if the horse is just being trained or if they are experience and need to work on the not laying on the bit! Worth the money!
