**Mild Spoilers**

I'm a latecomer to the Women of the Otherworld series, having just discovered two years ago. Since then, Kelley's zoomed to the top of my list of favorite authors. Her portrayal of werewolves is my favorite - no contest. So when I discovered they were making a television show, I was beyond excited. But then the questions started. Would the show be any good? Were they going to screw up the characters? How true to the book are they going to be?

Now that I've seen the first episode, I feel that my cautious hope was rewarded. It's not perfect, and there were some things that I didn't care for, but overall, I think the show has definite potential. I was pleased with Laura V's performance as Elena. She exhibits strength and a certain desperate vulnerability as she's trying to maintain a "normal" life. Once I got beyond the lack of accent and curls, Greyston's portrayal of Clay has me intrigued - he's got the seriousness down pat - and eager to see how he interacts with Elena. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Logan's character.

As for the negatives, I'm on the fence about Jeremy. I need to see more of him to decide if the actor's got him pegged, though at one point he delivers a line to Clay about Elena ("She'll come.") in a quiet, encouraging-father way that I thought was right on for Jeremy. I did not care for the way Nick's character was introduced. I know he's a ladies' man, but there was nothing to indicate that he was into THAT. And I totally hate Phillip (for obvious reasons) and wish he'd take his stinking family and shove off. The man wears lilac sweaters for crying out loud. Any self-respecting werewolf lady would not be caught dead around a man like that.

Finally a werewolf show I can sink my teeth into! In a world where almost 100% of Syfy's programs are corny, cheesy crap, this one shines through.

I have only seen two episodes but I am already falling in love with this show. I have always been a fan of the syfy shows and such. Bitten has action, some comedy, romance, and horror (I mean whats not to love!) Everyone should give this show a chance. :)

This show is different that the other teen wolf shows that are out there. Don't get me wrong I love me some Teen Wolf, but this is geared more towards a grown-up crowd. I love the different vibe that it puts off, and enjoy watching each week,

Bitten has been a pleasant surprise to me. I've never read the books and generally don't care much for werewolves, but this show has captured my attention. I really didn't expect it to be this good. It has really built on its pilot episode, and I can see that bigger things are in store for this season. I'm liking that the werewolves are actual wolves, and I really like that the characters are interesting and not one-dimensional. Laura Vandervoort is doing a great job as the lead in the show, and the rest of the characters seem to have been cast very well. I can't wait for the rest of the episodes to air.

The show is ok and I would have given it four stars but it looks like they are going to keep the love triangle going like in the Vampire Diaries.(spoiler alert) Plus why did they make such a big change from the book story line by killing off Antonio Sorrentino, he was an interesting character and keeping Logan Jonsen who is so very boring? Greyston Holt does a good job as the brooding, love sick Clay, and Steve Lund brings the happy go lucky, best friend Nick to life. I had high hopes for this show, however it is missing some of the intensity that could have made it a must see. I hope the show runs for another season and that we get to see the relationship between Clay and Elena develop, and it would be interesting to see characters from some of the other books.

This show really satisfies my need for more werewolves. Elena is an amazing character and I am so happy to see her brought to the big screen. The first episode is not as fast paced as I would like, but the second episode picks up speed and steam.
Worth your time and money!

Saw a bit of it on syfly channel last Friday and thought it was great! Decided I needed to buy the episodes because I was getting hooked and wanted to find out more about Elena and Clay's story and of the rest of the pack. I actually just got the book about them and hope to learn how the tv series will differ than the book. Looking forward to more episodes on the tv series, love the actors who are playing the parts, especially Elena, Clay, Jeremy, Nick!
