Olivia Hardin realized early on how strange she was to have complete movie-like character dreams as a child. Eventually she began putting those vivid dreams to paper and was rarely without her spiral notebooks full of those mental ramblings. Her forgotten vision of becoming an author was realized when she connected with a group of amazingly talented and fabulous writers who gave her lots of direction and encouragement. With a little extra push from family and friends, she hunkered down to get lost in the words. She's also an insatiable crafter who only completes about 1 out of 5 projects, a jogger who hates to run, and is sometimes accused of being artistic, though she's generally too much of a perfectionist to appreciate her own work. A native Texas girl, Olivia lives in the beautiful Lone Star state with her husband and their puppy Bonnie.

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment. This is the second book in the Bend-Bite-Shift trilogy. I recommend reading the first book, Witch Way Bends, before picking this one up. This book is so interesting because the chapters alternate from past to present, giving us a glimpse into who Jill Prescott was and how she became who she is today. Talked into staying with a man for his company, Jill doesn't realize he lives in an abandoned hospital or what he is. It's not long before their attraction strikes and Jill can't help but be drawn towards him. I really liked this book! It had humor, action and sexiness. I can't wait for the 3rd book!

Firstly, I must say the book cover is exactly how my mind imagined Jill Prescott. The story was well written and I loved the fact that the chapters toggled between the past and present so you could see where Jill was coming from and why she felt emotional turmoil. I was also drawn in from the first page, I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Will Jill finally get her heart's desire? How will it all turn out?...I guess we'll have to read book 3 to find out!

Bitten Shame is the second book in the trilogy , I been drawn into this story as much as the first, the characters are all lovable, you just want to read more and learn more about them. Great written, nice humor and action.
Jill in this book totally falls for Doc in this book and she gets intrigued with his work and helps him make his dream come true in the hospital, the book goes back and forwards in Jill's life, .... When she and Devan (her best friend) go to the fairy realm to meet with Devan's father, Jill realize that she has an important part in this .........will it be all worth it, that you have to read for yourself, I personally can't wait till the third book.
