Siobhan Fahey has evolved from Bananarama to Shakespears Sister to her current persona with grace, beauty, and style. This song will put her back in the mainstream of hippness with its trance like melody and electro dance beat that will pack a dance floor. No doubt, she is on her way back from the wilderness. The vocals are emotive seductive and oh-so cool. Siobhan can wrap more emotion in one note than others could. Seen as Kylie's evil twin, and the answer to the bubbly "Love at First Sight", Siobhan is the darker, mature, side of pop. Treat your aural senses with this Bitter Pill-swallow and let the groove take you over to your feet.

Siobhan Fahey, the ultra cool lead singer from Shakespears sister returns with Bitter Pill, a unique fusion of dark, emotive lyrics superimposed onto an energetic electro landscape.....the result is a purely addictive slice of intelligent pop from an artist who isnt afraid to say how she feels.

Siobhan Fahey (formally Bananarama and Shakespears sister...) is nowadays djing in London and everywhere and did this great track "Bitter pill" with a droyds-remix which sounds a lil bit like Kylies "Outta my head" but it is completely own-styled.

In England this was a small hit and hopefully Mrs. Fahey releases some of her great tracks she produces on her homepage. She is very talented and should go back to her roots, into the charts and not only the dance-charts.

This is a brilliant pop song. It is bouncy with cool lyrics. A good way to describe it would be that it sounds like a gothic Cant get you out of my Head. The song has its own style though. Its very dark yet fun to listen to like CGYOOMH. I also like Siobhan's vocal style. Its very emotive. I cant wait until she releases a full-lenght CD. Buy this CD single...you wont be sorry you did.

Siobhan Fahey (formerly of Bananarama and Shakespears Sister) released this single on the UK indie lable GMMH (God Made Me Hardcore) owned by former The Grid member Mr. Norris. The single itself is ok - mediorce vocal delivery to a psedo electro-clash beat. But the mixes included on the single are simply one extended version of the single edit mix and a dub version without vocals. The art work is cheap looking and unprofessional - looks like a counterfeit CD when it's actually a real release. As for making a electro-clash single to begin with, why is Siobhan bothering when she once said she left Bananarama because "whatever message you are trying to convey is lost when you're making four on the floor dance music". I guess the hope is that if you stay around long enough, eventually you will be back in fashion - but Bitter Pill clearly misses that boat by the more interesting and unique band Fisherspooner who did it earlier and better than Ms. Fahey.

Advice to Siobhan - join back up with your former Bananarama band mates and you MAY have a better chance of a comeback or attention.

Only die-hard Siobhan Fans will purchase this single and they will likely love it simply because it is her.
