Impossible to believe?!? I don't think so... Anouk is not a great singer...She's THE SINGER! From her first Hit some years passed..and also her life made her grow up...not only as person but also in her music...I love her velvet voice, when she sings angry, rocking powerfully("If I go.." in "Who's your Moma..", or even in ballads as in "Faith in my moon"...or "Three days in a row"...as in this cd "For Bitter or Worse"... Waiting for next new cd

... for this excellent talent from the Netherlands. I'm coming from Germany and have to travel to Amsterdam or Rotterdam to see her live, but every kilometer is worth it! It was last year that I saw her in a live TV-Concert called "Pink-Pop-Festival" and from that day I'm a fan. This Woman and her music are really authentic. To see her live is really great. So, if you ever think of traveling to the Netherlands, do it when she's in concert! ;-) or buy "Anouk Is Alive" here in Amazon. Of course this album is different from every album she's ever made and some people are disappointed of that but I think that she had made a great job, she created something new. This is not Pop music, it's not rock, I think it's something in between ... something different. My favs are "Woman" "For Bitter Or Worse" and "Lovedrunk" So I quit with a quote from her: "So many times I've cried, When dark clouds block the sunlight, and it's raining in my heart, I'll keep my head up high" (In The Sand, Urban Solitude)
