I bought this because I saw Jesse Dee open up for Etta James. I was blown away by the opening act?! Such great energy and enthusiasm busted out in a true, soulful, cathartic blast. The CD does not disappoint; fun, clever, with a strong retro feel. Heavy vocal presence and back up band is dynamic & solid. Bittersweet batch tastes authentic to me, try some!

a nice listen, April 16, 2009
this is good stuff. nice melodies and horns with good vocals. I actually prefer it to Ryan Montbleau, who I like very much as well.
