Singing Wind had always been mistress of her fate. But when she set eyes on the virile Sun Cloud, the famous Bright Arrow's younger brother, she felt herself losing the control over her life she so cherished. The Sioux beauty fought for her independence like a lioness defending its cubs. But she couldn't stop her pulse from racing, her skin from burning, nor her very core...

3.0 out of 5 stars Borrow It
This book was better when I was younger, when I read it again, here lately, it was seriously lacking.

Official "Ro" Reasoning:

This book was better when I was younger, when I read it again, here lately, it was seriously lacking.

Official "Ro" Reasoning:

(-1 Star) There was more politics and war than romance. I would have liked more interaction between Singing Wind and Sun Cloud since they were supposed to be the main couple.

(-2 Star) Too many of the main characters were childish throughout most the book. It took away from the novel as a whole.

(+ 1 Star) Sun Cloud was amazing, in truth he saved the book. In a way, he was too amazing, mature and wonderful but since he was all those things, Ms. Taylor gets a star for him.

Official "Ro" Rating: 3 stars, Borrow It.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect title for book, December 12, 2011
This review is from: Bittersweet Ecstasy (Mass Market Paperback)
I love this series, so it was an authentic combination of Bittersweet and romantic adventures. No spoiler alert, but I'm sure Taylor had a hard time writing this saga. I know the events had to happen sometime, but she did them with the perfect blend of suspense, breathtaking, and poignant words and actions. Let's see what she does next in ebook #8. With a lump in my throat, I say farewell to "friends".
