5.0 out of 5 stars Bitzenburger Fletching tool
The Bitzenburger fletching tool is one of the best on the market, well worth what you pay for it. It is easy to use, accurate (depends not too much on the user)and with the spring loaded detents in the hub, it creates infinetely repeatable fletching attach points. The hub self-centers the nocks and seems to take a variety of nock openings. The tool is weighted enough in...

1.0 out of 5 stars Be Careful what your ordering.. Call first
I bought what i thought was described in the description and the picture from ozbo. When it says "Bitzenburger Machine And Tool Jig And Clamp" you would think you get the "and clamp". So when it shows up at your door 8 days later and there is no clamp in the box don't say i did't warn you. Just be prepared to spend another 25 bucks and wait another week to get your arrows...

So when it shows up at your door 8 days later and there is no clamp in the box don't say i did't warn you. Just be prepared to spend another 25 bucks and wait another week to get your arrows built. Just do yourself the favor and buy it from bass pro or cabelas, It will end up being alot less Hassle, Frustration, and Money. Stamp sucker on my forehead for trying to get a deal. The Jig does look nice though, i just need the clamp to try it out.

The Fletcher is top of the line: probably the best I've every used. As for the rest: the description and the picture that accompanies and very deceptive. The picture shows 3 clamps and two inserts. It shows a package deal, that's why I opted to spend the extra $30.00 to order this product from Midwest marine. Other places on Amazon had it for $ 65.00 (I paid $95.00) Fact is you get one jig and one clamp. Don't be fooled as I was:

1.0 out of 5 stars greatly disappointed, December 11, 2010
This review is from: Bitzenburger Fletching Jig (Misc.)
I just bought one of these. I thought it was top of the line, and paid over twice as much as the competitors tools. Well, when I tried to use it, I realized I needed a $25 attachment (a TM receiver) to fletch the arrows that I thought are pretty much standard, cock feather down, ie string lines up with one of the fletches.

I'm returning this POS!!!!

buyer beware!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bitzenburger Fletching tool, December 27, 2011
This review is from: Bitzenburger Fletching Jig (Misc.)
The tool is weighted enough in the base to stand by itself, does not require special mounting and does not have to be secured down, even while turning the arrow to the next fletching attach point. Make sure that when you purchase this item, it come with the clamp, there are ads that do not state that the clamp is not included, that it is a separate purchase item. You will need to know whether you need a straight fletch, a right offset or a left offset clamp.

3.0 out of 5 stars Missing parts and pieces, January 17, 2011

This item probably is good, except that when it was shipped it was missing pieces and the box that they shipped it in was ripped to shreds by the time it got here... it was left on my front step in a garbage bag... needless to say we returned it for something else...

1.0 out of 5 stars Missing Right Helical Clamp, May 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bitzenburger Fletching Jig (Misc.)
Not sure what happened. Received my package today, no box and in the ziplock bag was a jig and two Allen wrenches. No right helical clamp to be found. I have e-mailed seller with problem. This is what makes or breaks a company. Depending on their timing of getting the clamp to me will determine my future rating for this product. As of now it is nothing more than a paper weight. I would not recommend at this time, more to come, stay tuned.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a bunch of crooks, October 27, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bitzenburger Fletching Jig (Misc.)
Had a terrible experience with this product and Ozbo, the company selling it. Even though the clamp is clearly in the picture and the description doesn't state it, the clamp is not included. After trying to get the clamp for several weeks I had to bite the bullet and buy a clamp seperately. I would not purchase this product, and I wouldn't buy anything from Ozbo ever again.
