a mother's story,
By juggalette37 "donna" (alabama) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
My son, Christopher Colt Kelley, was murdered on December 21, 2001. He was 15 years old and he was a real Juggalo. He used to try and get me to play ICP cd's all the time whenever we were riding in the car together and I wouldn't listen to them. When he was murdered I took the time to sit and listen to what he was in to. I haven't stopped listening to ICP yet. I met Violent J once before Shangri-La came out and I told him all about my son. He held my hand and told me in these words that I will never forget, "You should not be sad that he is gone, you should always look at it like this, whenever it rains, that's him Raining Diamonds down on you." Then Shangri-La dropped and I heard It Rains Diamonds...and I could not stop crying. Now I am a 37 year old Juggalette and I'll be that way 'til I'm dead in the ground. My son was buried with an ICP shirt on and a Hatchetman round his neck. And I plan on going the same way. Everyone has their own thoughts about ICP and the Dark Carnival...but if you're not a true Juggalo....you'll never get it. MCL and R.I.P. Colt....we miss you.

This CD May Be Bizaar, But That's ICP For Ya,
By Shawn (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
Hey, Shawn the Juggalo from Canada here. Insane Clown Posse's Bizaar is strictly for true ICP fans known as Juggalos. During the Great Milenko and Amazing Jeckel Brothers eras, the ICP introduced rock with their rap and it seemed to fit well. Tons of new fans bought those records, plainly because heavy guitar riffs were included in songs such as "Piggy Pie", "Halls Of Illusions", "Assasins" and "F' The World". On Halloween on 2000, ICP came out with twin CDs. Bizzar and Bizaar. Note the spelling differences. These two albums were everything ICP had in them to make Juggalos happy. This time, they didn't have to worry about capturing new fans, icluding a Dark Carnival Joker's Card message or anything the other albums did. They just wanted to make good music that people would strive to listen to. And they did exactly that. I think Bizaar is slightly better than Bizzar only because the songs were more typical ICP. But don't get me wrong, Bizzar is a good CD. So if you, for some reason, are a Juggalo, and don't have this album I suggest you buy both of them. But get this one first. Peace out Juggalos.

upbeat yet great,

Judging fairly, i have to say i like both bizaar and bizzar and they should have just come as a two disc set so as not to confuse some of the other a--holes that don't know the difference. although this album does have a few songs i wouldn't call great, the majority of the album is just absolutely great. I liked the songs pendulum's promise and crystal ball off the other album the most. they had the most important message over the entire CDs. i was just disappointed that i couldn't have those songs by themselves instead of with all the extra hidden songs at the end of the albums. i thought those extra songs were a good addition and would have thought they would have been better if added as extra tracks rather then having to fast forward over quite a bit of empty space.
as for placing in the ICP catagory of worst to greatest with the Dark Lotus Revisited being a lame 1 (because they redid it removing Marz for personal reasons. i loved the original version) and The Amazing Jeckel Bros. being a 10 (i just really loved that album), i place this album at about 8 for the couple of songs that weren't exactly great.
