a mother's story,
By juggalette37 "donna" (alabama) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
My son, Christopher Colt Kelley, was murdered on December 21, 2001. He was 15 years old and he was a real Juggalo. He used to try and get me to play ICP cd's all the time whenever we were riding in the car together and I wouldn't listen to them. When he was murdered I took the time to sit and listen to what he was in to. I haven't stopped listening to ICP yet. I met Violent J once before Shangri-La came out and I told him all about my son. He held my hand and told me in these words that I will never forget, "You should not be sad that he is gone, you should always look at it like this, whenever it rains, that's him Raining Diamonds down on you." Then Shangri-La dropped and I heard It Rains Diamonds...and I could not stop crying. Now I am a 37 year old Juggalette and I'll be that way 'til I'm dead in the ground. My son was buried with an ICP shirt on and a Hatchetman round his neck. And I plan on going the same way. Everyone has their own thoughts about ICP and the Dark Carnival...but if you're not a true Juggalo....you'll never get it. MCL and R.I.P. Colt....we miss you.

This CD May Be Bizaar, But That's ICP For Ya,
By Shawn (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
Hey, Shawn the Juggalo from Canada here. Insane Clown Posse's Bizaar is strictly for true ICP fans known as Juggalos. During the Great Milenko and Amazing Jeckel Brothers eras, the ICP introduced rock with their rap and it seemed to fit well. Tons of new fans bought those records, plainly because heavy guitar riffs were included in songs such as "Piggy Pie", "Halls Of Illusions", "Assasins" and "F' The World". On Halloween on 2000, ICP came out with twin CDs. Bizzar and Bizaar. Note the spelling differences. These two albums were everything ICP had in them to make Juggalos happy. This time, they didn't have to worry about capturing new fans, icluding a Dark Carnival Joker's Card message or anything the other albums did. They just wanted to make good music that people would strive to listen to. And they did exactly that. I think Bizaar is slightly better than Bizzar only because the songs were more typical ICP. But don't get me wrong, Bizzar is a good CD. So if you, for some reason, are a Juggalo, and don't have this album I suggest you buy both of them. But get this one first. Peace out Juggalos.

upbeat yet great,

This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
Judging fairly, i have to say i like both bizaar and bizzar and they should have just come as a two disc set so as not to confuse some of the other a--holes that don't know the difference. although this album does have a few songs i wouldn't call great, the majority of the album is just absolutely great. I liked the songs pendulum's promise and crystal ball off the other album the most. they had the most important message over the entire CDs. i was just disappointed that i couldn't have those songs by themselves instead of with all the extra hidden songs at the end of the albums. i thought those extra songs were a good addition and would have thought they would have been better if added as extra tracks rather then having to fast forward over quite a bit of empty space.
as for placing in the ICP catagory of worst to greatest with the Dark Lotus Revisited being a lame 1 (because they redid it removing Marz for personal reasons. i loved the original version) and The Amazing Jeckel Bros. being a 10 (i just really loved that album), i place this album at about 8 for the couple of songs that weren't exactly great.

Bizaar,
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
This is my review from Amazon UK which i decided to put on here because i don't want to review it again.
Intro: A song that samples the movie Escape from New York theme song and really gets you ready for whats in store. 3/5 Take Me Away: Brilliant song and lyrics, this song will be on replay for along time. 5/5 Fearless: J and Shaggs rapping about how fearless they are. 3/5 Rainbows and Stuff: Rock track which starts off really nice untill the lyrics start to turn nasty. 4/5 Whut: I wasn't really fond of this song. 2/5 Still' Stabbin': The second part to 'I STAB PEOPLE FROM AJB' but this song is longer and so much better. 5/5 Tilt-a-Whirl: I love this song, you will have this songs chorus in your head for days, one of there best. 5/5 We Gives No F**k: Another great crazy song. 5/5 Please Don't Hate Me: Really dirty song which turns out to be a diss at Eminem and thats always fun. 5/5 Behind The Paint: A very serious song for ICP, showing that they can talk about more than killing. 5/5 My Homie Baby Mama: I hate this song, the beat gets on my nerves really bad. 1/5 Pendulum's Promise: A good song which needs to be heard. 5/5 Overall:I think this is one of there best albums, one you should buy like any other ICP album.

Bizaar,

One of ICP's 2 cds 2 come out in October 2000, "Bizaar", along with its sister album, "Bizzar", are both very comical and funny while still bringing the fresh sounds that juggalos want 2 hear. Unlike the other "Bizzar", "Bizaar" has more serious, while still having funny, tracks. This is proven on tracks like "Rainbows & Stuff", "My Homie Baby Mama", and "Please Don't Hate Me". Here's a trak-by-trak review 2 let ya'll know whut i think:1. Intro - Talks about a dark cloud covering the country. 2. Take Me Away (5/5) - I think this is the freshest song off the album, awesome trak. 3. Fearless (4/5) - Alright, not as good as last 1, but still pretty good. 4. Rainbows & Stuff (5/5) - Funny as [heck], some hilarious verses by Violent J. 5. Whut (5/5) - Awesome song, has J, Shaggy, and Jamie Madrox to make a great juggalo anthem. 6. Still Stabbin' (5/5) - Fresh song which has more of J stabbing people like on the "Amazing Jeckel Bros." trak "I Stab People". 7. Tilt-A-Whirl (4/5) - I don't like it that much, but still fresh. 8. We Gives No... (3/5) - Don't really like it that much. 9. Please Don't Hate Me (5/5) - Hilarious song where J talks about...Eminem's mom. 10. Behind The Paint (5/5) - Excellent trak, one of my favorites off the album, really deep. 11. My Homies Baby Mama (5/5) - Hilarious song. 12. Pendulum's Promise (3/5) - Is this the same thing from after "Please Don't Hate Me" but right before "Behind The Paint"? Some thing off Dark Lotus Family. 13. Sampler (5/5) - This might or might not be on the cd you have, my brother, also known as MUSIQSTAR88. let me borrow his burnt copy, and it has 2 versions of this sampler, it's fresh and talks about the Wraith. 14. Sampler - read #13 15. Bonus Trak (5/5) - ...awesome trak, fresh as [heck]...

Bizaar is the best,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
I think Bizaar is one of the Insane Clown Posse's best CDs. My favorite track is their new single Tilt-A-Whirl. Also, their is a picture of them without the facepaint in this CD. You just have to look for it. I'll tell you one more thing about where to look: IT IS NOT IN THE BOOKLET! Overall a great CD.Peace Out.

yes now this is the better cd outta the 2. I like the songs on this one way better, but i don't know why. Well all i know is the song Go All The Way, with Perpetual Hype Engine, now that was genius, can they get any smarter than that? the answer is no, man you have to pick this cd up. I know it is at the top of my cd-pile.

This was the turning point..,

Bizaar is slightly better than Bizzar, but still sub-par when you compare it to everything ICP previously did. These albums are when ICP started to sell out and make happy music that your grandma could listen to, which is what led to the departure of Mike E. Clark. I did enjoy some of the songs on here however, such as "Still Stabin'" "Tilt-A-Whirl" and "Whut" but overall the music just didn't have that ICP sound that I knew and loved. Now that Mike E. Clark is back, I hope that all changes with The Tempest.

Great Example of Wicked Talent,
By
This review is from: Bizaar (Audio CD)
Many ppl have been dissin on the clownz cuz they say that they have bad and whack rhymes. As i never thought anything by ICP was whack, i thought this album could be the most clever lyrics. Even though The Wraith albums had a lot more thought in them, this CD is just so tight and funny. As the two clowns portrayed all of this violence in past albums like Amazing Jeckel Bros and Milenko, this one is pure. Those cds were too but this CD is one of a kind. Check this, the clowns do a lot of stuff on this, they show that they're still violent as hell, they hate eminem, and they are really pretty sad with their life. Every song on here has a great purpose and i would consider it one of their best Non-Joker cds.
1. Intro (7/10) --Good intro, kinda scary. It kinda drags out too long though. It's supposed to be a news report while the Dark Carnival takes over. 2. Take Me Away (10/10) --"Welcome to the Dark Carnival." This is the tightest beat i have ever heard. J doesnt start with the rapping for about a minute but it doesn't matter cuz you'll be swept away in the beat. This is kinda the intro song such as the song "Jake Jeckel" and Amazing Jeckel Bros. 3. R U Scared? (9/10) --This is a wicked song. They talk about doing crazy stuff. It's funny as hell and you'll be repeating lines from it. The only reason it isnt 10 is cuz some of the rhymes are the same but other than that this is another classic. 4. Whut?!! [featuring Twiztid] (8/10) --I don't know why, but this song was annoying. Maybe it's because they kept going WHUT after every single line. I still thought it was funny but it got a little repetetive. 5. Rainbows & Stuff (9/10) --Funny song. A lot of metal guitar in this. It starts all nice then turns crazy. 6. Still Stabbin (10/10) -- This, track 6, is where the real show starts. Still Stabbin is the second part of the song off Amazing Jeckel Bros called "I Stab People." That song wasnt great but this one is hilarious. He talks about stabbing everyone from his brother to wrestling commentators. The chorus is scary and will have you chanting "Slice them up, slice them down, side to side and all around. They dont help, they dont care, guess whos swinging everywhere" 7. Tilt-a Whirl (10/10) --As any juggalo probably knows, this is ICPs second biggest hit so of course its great. It is hella funny and its more raw than the version they played on MTV. 8. We Gives no F*ck (10/10) --Congrats to Violent J for his rhymes in this joint. Its great lyrics and funny. This one is easily a classic. It was even featured on the Video Game "Backyard Wrestling" 9. Please Don't Hate me (10/10) --Sad for eminem, funny for a juggalo. This is by far the funniest song on the album. I cant even remember my reaction to the first time i heard this song This is the type of song you will keep rewinding prats on. 10. Behind the Paint (10/10) --Most meaningful song to date. Even songs on the Wraith didnt compare. This song makes u feel bad for the clowns. It includes sad lines with a tight beat. Everyone i know always disses this song but i dont know why. its one of my favorites. 11. My homey baby Moma (6/10) --This is the worst song on the album and it is just not that good. The beat is annoying and the lyrics are kinda dumb. It aint whack but it isnt one you need to know. 12. Pendulems Promise (10/10) --This song is one that everyone needs to know. Its weird but its definitely a great song. It isnt only the song thats there, theres also 16 extra minutes of skits, funny songs and appearances from Rude Boy and Vanilla Ice. Over all this is truly one of their best albums and a great example of raw humor. Average Song Rating (109/120) (9.08/10)

Insane Clown Posse - "Bizaar" (4.5 stars),
By Justin Linker (Ninja In Action) "Superior Kun... (Midland, NC USA) - See all my reviews

Halloween 2000, the Insane Clown Posse returned for 2 unexpected, yet pleasant albums. Insane Clown Posse released "Bizaar" and "Bizzar" after a bet made with Sharon Osbourne that their next album wouldn't sell more than 500,000. And although this came out of no where. It still as fresh as could be. This album (along with "Bizzar") was also made for the sole love of music and having a good time I believe.
Unlike their previous "The Amazing Jeckel Brothers", they didn't do a whole lot of dark rap on here, Instead they chose to lighten things up a bit with some basement-like recorded raps that would please just about any underground rap fan. On this record, Violent J tells really good stories, and Shaggy 2 Dope tags along as a back-up rapper who spits his great flows as always. The production is is wild. The production stands out tremendously, with the funky loops and kick drum beats by Mike E. Clark & ICP. Local Detroit indie rock band Paper Tiger provided some great live drums and guitar licks for them. Which gives the beats a finishing touch. Here's my individual track ratings. 01. "Intro" (N/A) 02. "Take Me Away" (A+) 03. "Fearless" (A) 04. "Rainbows & Stuff (ft. Paper Tiger)" (B-) 05. "Whut (ft. Twiztid)" (A+) 06. "Still Stabbin'" (A+) (favorite) 07. "Tilt-A-Whirl" (A+) 08. "We Gives No F**k" (B) 09. "Please Don't Hate Me" (A) 10. "Behind The Paint" (B-) 11. "My Homie Baby Mama" (D+) (least favorite) 12. "The Pendulum's Promise" (A) There it is. I recommend this to Juggalos and everyone who likes hardcore underground rap. This may be a fresh piece to your collection. Also check out my review for "Bizzar". Peace Paper Tiger are not signed artists. Twiztid appears courtesy of Island/Psychopathic Records. ~ Raw Hide |
