Fun for me,
This review is from: Bizarre Fruit (Audio CD)
M People R great, and so is this album. It contains loads of well known songs, like "Sight For Sore Eyes", the classic "Search For The Hero", another classic "Open Your Heart", "Love Rendezvous" and just another classic "Itchycoo Park". Besides from these classics, there R the groovy "Drive Time" ( you really drive me wild ) and "Sugar Town" ( rain in sugar town ), and some tracks that R only a little bit more slow like "Walk Away" "...And Finally". And "Padlock" is a fun little story done is a classy way about a break up.M People R the ultimate feel good band that combine dance with house and saxophones and other jazzy instruments. This music will make you dance and groove till midnight and longer. There is a version which has 5 live tracks ( "Moving On Up" live is the best thing ever ) and 5 remixes ( the Junior Vasquez Sound Factory Mix of "Padlock" is like heaven ).

I heard Sight For Sore Eyes in a store one day in 1995, and HAD to know what it was, where did it come from. I bought it the next day. This album is unfailingly fun and boy, can you move to it. It is slickly produced disco for the 90s, with some kicky lyrics to boot. Fun for all.

Delightful and distinctive dance album,
By A Customer

This is a dance album but it is very different from the other dance albums. The vocalist Heather Small must be a 'superlung' to be able to sing the songs! Her vocals are very distinctive. Songs like 'Sight For Sore Eyes' and 'Love Rendezvous' are very beaty and danceable, and yet also resmebles pop music. 'Search For The Hero' is my all time favourite, I find the lyrics very phiilosophical. In addition the saxophones are beautifully arranged and played too.
