I bought these to modify an an old no-name cruiser that a friend gave me. I wanted higher handlebars, but with a 7/8" handlebar mount, there aren't many options. So I took a chance on these basic and inexpensive bars, and was delighted with the results. I can now ride in a much more comfortable position, and the bars seem solid and sturdy. I finished them off with a set of Sunlite Gel Mountain Bicycle Grips, and now I feel like I've got a whole new ride!

NOTE: because of the BMX-style crossbar design, these bars will only work on a bike where the handlebar stem has four bolts in it, not the clamping kind with just one bolt, where you slide the handlebars through the central stem. And you need to make sure your bike has 7/8" handlebars, not the kind that get thicker at the area where you clamp them. Many modern bars are 7/8" but they are 1" thick at the center. These bars are 7/8" throughout, and will only work for bikes with similar sized bars.

These were ordered via Niagara Cycle Works, and they shipped the items promptly - two thumbs up for them as well!

got the bars on time, cut the ends off , because i needed them narrower, went to mount them and saw that they were not straight, the top bar is not parallel with the mounting area, couldn't return them because i all ready cut them( my fault i guess), but i guess they should have came made right!

Thinking about purchasing CW Racing handlebars? forget it, these are near perfect for 80% less the cost. Great for BMX restoration for 80's BMX bikes. I bought 2 pair (for a Diamond Back & GT bike) and constantly being asked at the track "are those CW handlebars"? Only one question for Pyramid, when can i buy CW like cruiser bars?
