5.0 out of 5 stars Great value!
After shopping around quite a bit for Parson chairs, we decided to give these a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and sturdiness of the design. Two chairs come in a box disassembled. Parts consist of a seat, a back w/ two legs attached, and the front two (individual) legs, along with a dozen screws and allen wrench. Assembly is about 20 minutes per chair,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great looking, but poorly built and mislabeled
First off, as other reviewers have noted, these are definitely NOT leather, but I kinda figured that for the price. I am pleased that the vinyl material used is very leather-like and comfortable. However, it does have a very strange greasy film on it that smells quite bad. Luckily, this can be cleaned off easily.

As for assembly/build quality, they did not...

Assembly is about 20 minutes per chair, or a bit faster if you have a power drill with hex tip. Sure, it's vinyl, not leather; but it's soft to the touch. Padding is sufficient. Going to buy six more chairs now to round out the set!

took me hours to get the first one assembled, none of the holes lined up. stripped many of the bolts, had to use my drill to widen the hole to allow them to line up together, then the legs were not even and the chair rocked. tried to put the second one together, had split wood and the anchors for the bots were coming out. JUNK

As for assembly/build quality, they did not include the locking washers as noted in the parts list, and one of the 4 chairs I ordered came with 5 of one type of bolt and 3 of another, meaning I couldn't put the 4 bolts into the back of one of the chairs. A quick trip to the hardware store resolved that, but it was definitely inconvenient. Beyond missing parts, one of the chairs was built from either burnt or rotten wood, as about half of the back support brace was missing and what was left was black. On that chair, the holes for mounting the bottom to the back were VERY off. So far off, I couldn't even put one of the bolts in because the alignment was off by about half an inch. So I have 2 of my 4 chairs with only 3 bolts holding the chair together.

Aside from the horrid build quality, I'm happy with the chairs. Given that 2 of the 4 I ordered went together within an hour with no problems at all, I can guess that some people will get perfect chairs, and others will have an experience more like mine. If you're willing to risk having to return them or get out the real tools to make what you have work, then these chairs are a great value. If you're looking for higher quality material and better construction, you should definitely look elsewhere (and expect to pay a lot more).

Got these chairs a couple of weeks ago and they are sturdy and comfortable. Definitely not leather, but it looks decent enough. The chairs were packed well and arrived undamaged. Assembly is a little tedious, especially since the lock washers were missing. Just bought the lock washers instead on trying to get them from the seller. Overall I am pleased with the chairs. Good value for the money.

So easy to clean I love them. my only complaint is they could've been a bit easier to put together not that it was hard it was just tricky with the allen wrench on the back legs cause the angle it could've just been me though. all in all awesome chairs.

I am very happy with these chairs. The chairs were delivered to my house very quickly.
And the quality is excellent for the price. They were a little tricky to put together
But overall I am happy with my purchase.
