Yes, it is unique and contemporary. And it folds flat to store. But it is flimsy and does not hold much. Glasses, especially if large or heavy, do not hold on the vertical plastic racks - falls over. It is flimsy and bends. Only reason it received a 3 star rate is due to it's appearance and uniqueness.

This dish drainer is great looking. We have a contemporary kitchen so I thought this drainer would look nice - and I was right. If you are just washing plates and glasses, it works well. The only problem is, once you have to wash a pot or a pan - you don't know where to put it. It's not very big and not extremely functional if you wash a lot. I sometimes have to put a dish towel on the counter next to the drainer to put the bigger stuff on - Which kind of defeats the purpose of a drainer. We thought of returning it when we first saw how tiny it was. We knew it wouldn't be as functional as our old chunky dish drainer. BUT we decided to keep it because it can fold away easily and it looks nice. Overall, you're getting a trendy dish drainer, not a completely functional one. Either way, I still really like it!

I bought this dish drainer after seeing it featured in New York Magazine. It looked so nice that I had to have it. It is made of cheap plastic and can be bent easily. It is a flimsy product. It looks like a real designer piece in the photo but in real life it is a piece of junk. I could not add it to my expensive granite countertop. I wound up buying a much better product for less than half the price of this so-called designer drainer. I will never trust New York Magazine again!

This Dish Drainer is the best drainer I've had so far. I looks awesome and is very useful. All my dishes and glasses fit perfectly in it, and when I'm not using it I can easily fold and put it away

Cool design. As soon as I started using it I received lots of compliments from friends. Easy to take apart and very compact so you can put it away ehen not in use. Great x a small apartment.Only problem is sometimes I only have cups and glasses to wash and if I put these to dry the whole thing just flips over. Thank God no broken glasses yet. You have to make sure you put some of the cups where the plates go in order to balance the weight. Also the drips from the glasses fall outside the mat so I just push the rack to the front of the mat so i dont get a puddle on my countertop. Oter than that is just the perfect size for a household of 2, i really think it would be too small for 4+ people.

Dysfunctional dish rack,

I ordered this dish rack for its beauty, but found it completely unusable. In fact, when setting up dishes to take a photo to send to the seller to show that it was too flimsy, I actually broke a dish! My dishes are not any heavier than most other dishes, and the glasses I use are fairly light - but they too bent the plastic and the rack bowed nearly to the countertop under their light weight. Definitely not a good example of solid design. Don't be swayed by its allure!

I am always looking for a something not only good looking, but also functional. This Drainer is NOT for family or people who cook a lot. It's designed for people who cooks sometimes, and only cook for 1 or 2 people. It's super easy to clean, and it looks amazing. I always laid down the heavy glass cups on it (not hand it on the sticks). It works great, and i would love to recommend it :) |
