Ordered a pair of these, and tried them out a couple of times. I was the envy of the lunch table because of the attractive design, but unfortunately, on both occasions and with both sets, I had some soup leakage from the top container. No full-blown spills, but the seal isn't watertight, so I'm sending them back.

I recently purchased this lunch gizmo (for lack of a better word!) at a museum shop, and I use it daily.

What's great:

It's really well designed and very lightweight.
The parts stack, and can also be used separately if you only need one on a given day.
Once the strap is put on, you simply pull it up to secure all of the pieces.
The whole unit is the size of a big 7-11 cup, making it convenient to put into a small shopping bag alongside my coffee. And... you have a fork/spoon device in a pocket on the strap.
You can separate foods, and the lid twists on to retain flavor.

Note: it's not insulated. If I'm travelling, and want to keep food cold, I insert some small ice packets around the edges of the large container, and put my food in a sandwich bag inside the ice packs in the large container. The smaller container is great for extras: sauces, fruit, side dishes.

I've already put the bottoms into the dishwasher (top shelf) and they wash beautifully. I'm buying a second one.

I grew up in India using those fabled metal tiffin carriers where you can keep a number of different foods in separate containers and have a totally fab meal when you're ready. The carriers are not specially useful in my current life as I can't microwave foods in them. So, I languished, making do with an assortment of tupperware and delivery-grade plastic containers TILL-- my beloved husband saw this piece in Iceland of all places and he bought it for me. Now I wonder how I ever did without them. The containers fit beautifully; the lids make a good seal (haven't tested if it's airtight); and I can have a heatable meal in the lower container and then yogurt or salad on the top one. These are microwave safe, though I do it with the usual trepidation. The big plus is the size (good for a lunch portion), the compactness (fits easily in a bag); the terrific spoon (yes, I actually use it); and the ease of carriage (the handy strap is very well made). And did I mention the terrific grade plastic and the really zippy colors? Mine is orange but I'm tempted by the green if I had a second stomach to feed...

I think I'd probably balk a bit at the price if I had to get it for myself, but this is one of the loveliest gifts my husband has gotten me that I'll use even more than that gorgeous jewelry I covet but barely wear. Enjoy!

I carry soup to work and always worry about the tops popping off my containers. This allow me to carry my soup in a sealed container that stays put. It is very modern looking and doesn't take up tons of space in the company kitchen refrigerator that is always packed to the max!

If you are looking for something that does not leak, then this is not the product. I tried putting putting water inside and turning it upside down. It leaks big time. So if you want to carry soup in this, either don't fill it up too full, or carry it carefully right side up. It's not insulated, so i use a bag that can keep food warm for a while to carry it. Overall, a good idea, nice to be able to keep the small container in the big one. Just wish it's really leak proof as claimed.

I got this lunch pot in orange to take to work and I love it. The larger cup is great for a full lunch meal and the smaller cup is great for a snack. I always unscrew the lid before microwaving. I have had this for over 6 months (used 2-3 times per week) and it looks like new. I have not had any problems with the seal. Several people have complimented my lunch pot!
