The teen's latest adventures begin with a crack on his head during a diving tournament, allowing him to delve further into his sometimes-hallucinogenic fantasies. He is still in love with Posie Hoff, he still longs for the elusive Sophie, and he is doing his best to figure out if his cyber-love is really the gorgeous Scandinavian girl she claims to be. Yes, like many 17-year-olds, Jonah's life and thoughts revolve around his dating aspiration. While all this is going on, he must also deal with the fact that his mother is breezing in and out of his life, just when he seems to need her the most. Readers finally discover the reason he was expelled from boarding school, and perhaps in the third, and final, book, they may find out exactly why Jonah did what he did. "The Black Book" diaries will speak to many teenagers, particularly reluctant readers. Jonah is today's Everyteen-pining away for his lost love, hanging up when he finally hears her voice, and struggling to deal with his own identity. When you read this book you absolutely fall in love with Jonah Black. He's so sweet and innocent and he's absolutely perfect. his way of writing makes you confused sometimes when he launches into his dream sequences, but when you realize what's going on you fall over laughing. He's so sweet and so clueless about somethings. His family is royally screwed up because his mom wrote this book Hello Penis Hello Vagina and he is totally embarrassed. His sister is a genius who's really scary but seems like she'd be really fun. His best friend Thorne is a major player who has to have all the girls, and his other friend is Posie this girl who he's majorly in love with. It is so much fun to read and it will keep you guesing why he got kicked out of Boarding school till the end. If you are a teenage girl who gets confused by guys, or who likes guys or who likes to read this book is perfect for you.

This is by far the best book that i have read in a long time. It contains all the aspects of the life of a teenager. It is about a Junior/Senior named Jonah and its about how he goes about his everyday life and how different people influence him. He makes a lot of new friends like Posie and Sophie, and many others. The author uses great imagry to describe the characters and it almost feels like u know them personally. After i had read the first book of this trillogy i imidiately ordered the next to see what was going to happen to Jonah. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO IS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14 AND 17.

I have read tons of awsome books and this has to be my all time fav. so far! i let my best friend borrow this book and she is usually reads really slow and she read this in a day! this is the kind of book that you are sorry when it's over! it is about a 17 year old boy that gets kicked out of bording school and keeps it to himself why he was kicked out for a long time. He likes two girls one that likes him back and one that doesn't even know he's alive untill his best friend tell her what he did for her! it is about a bunch of sex crased teenagers and how they are trying to live life! it is a totally awsome book that you must read!
