Spice hits again with yet another classic,
By
This review is from: The Black Bossalini (Audio CD)
He does it again. His 5th album is yet another classic to add to his collection of many. This man shows as he ages he still can rap, and rap good. It has 3 classics, 1 song I skip, 1 that's ok and the rest are good or great. Production is great and handled by a lot of people, Paris (4 songs), ant Banks, Ric Rock, and Ali Malek (2 songs each), and Hen gee, Payback, Mike Mosely each do a song and Femi O. co-produces on 2 tracks. If he had airplay out here on the east coast I'd bet he'd have many multi-platinum plaques on his wall. That's what's wrong with rap, hardly any of the good rappers sell. All th fake a*s pu*sy's sell the most. If you wanna hear some real rap from a real cat who's been in the game puttin out albums since '88 check out Spice 1. Get this album!!

Spice 1's Best,
By Robbie (Minnesnowta) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Black Bossalini (Audio CD)
The Black Bossalini is my favorite Spice 1 cd of all time, even though all the other one's I have of his come close. This one has the best bunch of songs on it!We got his Hardest Song ever "Tha Boss Mobsta" which he comes off harder then ever. "Diamonds" and "Playa Man" are just as smooth as it can get, where Spice lays down his hard gangsta lyrics to a nice hook. "The Thug In Me" is a nice tribute to 2pac, and one of the best on the Cd. Then the songs with Guest Stars all come up, and they shine brightly like "510,213" which has the tight WC and Big Syke on it, just slow and smooth. "Recognize Game" has the West Coast gangsta rap godfathers Ice-T and Too Short displaying some game! While "Ballin'" has the hard as ever Yukmouth showing up, he's the rawest rapper I've seen come out ever, Mc Breed is on this one too. So Spice 1 Comes up bigger then ever on this one!His Style is unmatched, and he is the master of gangsta rap formulas. He's Got it all!
