Soul and Blues with a spiritual touch, May 29, 2000

Robert Wards "Black Bottom" has soul, blues, swamp music, and a religious/spiritual message. The tone and style are distinctive, and I enjoyed this album. In general I am not a fan of soul, I lean more towards acoustic and country blues. Robert Ward has earned my appreciation by the sincerity and intensity of his music.
