i like the lamp for its usefulness for reading, not too bright for the eyes. It's very simple, not like in hotels, more for like apartments. Although you have to bolt it to the wall, it did not come with a screw or a nail so I just tied it up on my bed so that I don't have to make a hole in the wall.
