Nothing serious or special...,

This wasn't really a full LP, more like a loose gathering of songs. Besides that, it was an semi-enjoyable album as Danny Brown humourous and erratic and the production is hard hitting. But it is only 22 minutes along, what is that nonsense?!?! The production is solely handled by Black Milk, delivering his usual style of weird sounds, strong bass lines and hard hitting drums. Black Milk is up and down when it comes to drums in my opinion, sometimes they are thoughtfully planned and others, just simple and repetitive. On this one, it is mainly basic, which is rather annoying. Danny Brown performs decently but lacks direction and purpose but his delivery is interesting and in your face, with his exciting flow. A decent listen but with some purpose, this could be something to rave about.

Great Album, solid play through. The only down is that they changed the beat on LOL but a must buy. True display of TALENT.

When I found out that Black Milk and Danny Brown were coming out with an album i was pretty excited. When I previewed the tracks I was still pretty excited. When I purchased the Black and Brown album I was definitely pleased with my purchase. Danny's flow over Black Milks beats is a perfect chemistry that certainly won't disappoint anyone who's familiar with either artist. However Blacks beats are NOT like his previous works, but this isn't a bad thing. The beats have a strong...dare I say "Madlib" influenced sound and production quality. Danny's flow, as to be expected is comical, disjointed, yet raw and edgy. His flow and subject matter do get a bit repetitive but since the album is fairly short you still get a nice amount of his material; plus I still catch myself laughing to some of his lyrics even after repeated listens. Overall a really solid album and despite any hint of negativity in my review I still banged this album HARD!!
