Brushkins are whimsical animals made from the fiber of the Buri palm tree. This Black and White Cat Brushkin measures 6 Inches. Made in the Philippines, each animal is created by twisting the fiber onto a wire to create a round brush that is cut into the final shape. Then, each animal is dyed and shaped, and the finishing touches are glued on, using seeds, pods, and carved wooden pieces for the eyes, ears, nose, feet, etc. No trees or plants are destroyed in the production process. This product is a decorative item that is quite sturdy. The wire in the middle of the animal can be bent to adjust the way the animal looks or stands.
