What you see is definitely what you get. The inside is a soft velvet like material.( this is an added bonus) It opens and shuts without a problem. Usually you look at something in a magazine or on line and you order it, and it arrives and you are totally dissapointed. I am so delighted with my purchase and I will continue to purchase products from you. Thank You So Much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazon You Rock!!!!

This is a great piece. So versatile. I use it as an ottoman, bench, storage and offee table. The lid is super cushy whether you're resting your feet or sitting on it. And it looks fabulous. Additionally the lid has a hinge that does not allow the lid to fall my itself. Nice and safe for hands! When I had it delivered to my job it got rave reviews. Everyone wanted one!

This is a great ottoman, to be honest. Roomy storage-wise, good height to sit on, looks nice, easy to put together. I am very happy with it. I am just bummed because it is black, not brown, and I like brown better. I looked at the picture without reading the title (new black bycast ottoman...) and was surprised when it arrived. Luckily in the room it's in, black is OK. Otherwise, this is a great ottoman and a good price.
