Though at first you might think it's an extravagance, once you try this wonderfully handy book cover, you (or your favorite reader) will wonder how life was ever possible without it. With a smooth, full-sized zipper pocket on the outside, a built-in bookmark on the inside, and a comfortable carry strap along the binding, this featherweight item is the ultimate in convenience, making even the heaviest, most unwieldy hardcover tome a cinch to carry. The pocket has plenty of room for papers, pens and pencils, and ID, and the canvas fabric, which zips up completely around the book inside, is sturdy and partially water-resistant. Whether you're carrying around the latest Don DeLillo, Danielle Steele, or George R. R. Martin, it's perfect for reading on subways, buses, or anywhere you have to get up and go. The cover isn't reinforced, so it isn't suitable for carrying smaller-sized books like paperbacks. After experiencing the ease that this one provides, however, you'll find yourself willing to invest in the available smaller-sized ones as well. And yes, along with all these great features, it still conceals your book from prying eyes, if privacy is what you're after. The perfect reader's gift, and a great find.
