Black cats have far less chance of being adopted--simply because they're black. (Folks, they are as wonderful as any other hue of kitty, trust me on this.) I like to buy this calendar every year because I love the photographs but also as a subtle advertisement. We are black-cat-friendly in this house!

I have a special interest in black cats because when I went to adopt my cat who of course is black, I didn't know they don't let you adopt black cats during Halloween. Yet they weren't promising to keep him alive after Halloween, so when I found out they treat them differently I became very partial to black cats and make it a point to order ALL Black Cat Calendars every year. So of course to me this product is OUTSTANDING!
